Description
Flavor-Packed Instant Pot Pork Chops Made Easy in 30 Minutes
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 pieces Boneless Pork Chops
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil (Can substitute with canola or avocado oil)
- 3 cloves Fresh Garlic (Minced; can substitute with ½ teaspoon garlic powder)
- 1 cup Chicken Broth (Homemade is ideal, but store-bought works)
- 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce (Tamari or coconut aminos for gluten-free)
- 1 teaspoon Salt (Adjust to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper (Freshly ground is best)
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Dried Thyme (Other herbs can be substituted)
Instructions
- Pat the boneless pork chops dry with a paper towel. Season both sides generously with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
- Set your Instant Pot to ‘Sauté.’ Add olive oil and heat until shimmering. Sear the pork chops for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove the seared pork chops and set aside. Add minced garlic to the pot and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth and soy sauce, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pot.
- Return the pork chops to the pot and sprinkle dried thyme over them. Close and seal the lid. Cook on high pressure for 8 minutes.
- Allow the Instant Pot to naturally release pressure for 5 minutes, then perform a quick release for any remaining steam.
- For a thicker sauce, switch back to ‘Sauté’ mode and mix cornstarch with water. Stir into the pot until sauce reaches desired thickness.
- Serve the pork chops drizzled with the sauce, garnishing with fresh thyme.
