  • 1/2 TBSP Ground cinnamon (for filling)
  • 1/8 tsp Salt (for filling)
  • 16 oz Peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 3/4 cup White granulated sugar (for peach jam)
  • 1 TBSP Lemon juice (for peach jam)
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar, packed (for topping)
  • 1/4 cup White granulated sugar (for topping)
  • 1/2 TBSP Ground cinnamon (for topping)
  • 1/4 tsp Salt (for topping)
  • 1 1/4 cup All-purpose flour (for topping)
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, melted (for topping)
  • 4 oz Cream cheese, room temperature (for icing)
  • 4 TBSP Unsalted butter, room temperature (for icing)
  • 2 tsp Pure vanilla extract (for icing)
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar, sifted (for icing)
  • 1 – 2 TBSP Milk (for icing)

Instructions

  1. Warm milk to 110°F. Sprinkle yeast on top and let sit for 10 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, and sugar. Add cubed butter and cut into the flour. Add milk/yeast mixture and beaten eggs. Mix until dough forms, then knead for 5 minutes.
  3. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm spot for 1 hour until doubled.
  4. In a saucepan, combine peaches, sugar, and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat for 5-10 minutes until thickened like jam. Let cool.
  5. Mix crumb topping ingredients: brown sugar, white sugar, cinnamon, salt, flour, and melted butter. Bake at 350°F for 8 minutes. Let cool completely.
  6. Roll out dough into a rectangle. Spread softened butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt for the filling. Layer with cooled peach jam and half the crumb topping.
  7. Roll the dough tightly into a log. Cut into 12 even rolls and place in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Let rise for 20 minutes.
  8. Preheat oven to 375°F. Bake rolls for 23-26 minutes until golden brown.
  9. While rolls bake, prepare icing: beat cream cheese and butter until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing well. Add milk for desired drizzle consistency.
  10. Once rolls are slightly cooled, spread icing on top. Sprinkle with the remaining crumb topping. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For the dough, you can make it by hand if you don’t have a stand mixer.
  • Feel free to use store-bought peach jam as a shortcut.
  • The rolls can be served warm for the best taste experience.
