- 2 teaspoons instant yeast
- 3 cups all-purpose flour

- 1/3 cup Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (or olive oil)
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until frothy.
- Add yogurt, oil, salt, and flour to the yeast mixture. Mix until a rough dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1–1.5 hours until doubled in size.
- Punch down the dough and divide into 6–8 equal parts. Roll each into an oval or teardrop shape.
- Heat a cast-iron or heavy skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook one naan at a time for 1–2 minutes per side until golden and puffed.
- Melt butter and stir in minced garlic while naan cooks.
- Brush each naan with garlic butter and sprinkle with chopped cilantro.
- Serve warm and enjoy with curries, dips, or grilled dishes.
