- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breast, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 2 carrots, thinly sliced or julienned
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 3 green onions, chopped
- Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, toss the sliced chicken with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Set aside.
- Heat cooking oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the minced garlic and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the chicken to the skillet and stir-fry until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- Add the bell peppers, carrots, and broccoli to the skillet. Stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until vegetables are crisp-tender.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet with the vegetables.
- Toss everything together to combine.
- Stir in the chopped green onions.
- Serve the Garlic Chicken Stir-Fry immediately over cooked rice.
Notes
- Chicken thighs can be used as an alternative to chicken breast.
- Add other vegetables like snap peas, mushrooms, or baby corn as desired.
