- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 20–24 pieces white chocolate chunks or buttons
- 1 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate large bowl, cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.
- Slowly add dry ingredients to wet mixture and beat until combined.
- Cover dough and chill for at least 2 hours.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Scoop dough, flatten, insert white chocolate, and roll into a ball.
- Coat generously in powdered sugar.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are set.
- Cool 5 minutes on tray, then transfer to wire rack to finish cooling.
