Description
Air Fryer Apples are a quick and easy snack or dessert made by tossing fresh apple pieces with cinnamon and maple syrup, then air frying until warm and caramelized.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 large apples
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp pure maple syrup or sweetener of choice
- 2 tsp oil or butter (optional, can omit for fat free)
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients. Grease the air fryer tray or line it with air fryer liners.
- Peel the apples if you prefer, then chop them into small squares, sticks, or thin slices for chips. Discard cores and seeds.
- Toss the apple pieces in a bowl with cinnamon, sweetener, and optional melted butter or oil.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Arrange the apples in a single layer on the greased tray. If your air fryer is small, cook in two batches to avoid overcrowding.
- Air fry for 7 minutes.
- Open the air fryer, shake or stir the apples to turn them.
- Bake for an additional 8 minutes or until apples are crispy and caramelized to your liking.
Notes
- Serve warm, topped with coconut ice cream or yogurt.
- Use any apple variety you like.
- Try adding a pinch of nutmeg for extra flavor.
- Enjoy as a snack, dessert, or breakfast topping.
